JLA toys!!!!!

as anyone knows, i collect toys... but i'm
not too proud to collect ALL toys of any
given line (blah blah blah).
anyways...
so cartoon network (or whomever) will be
releasing a new justice league series soon
(if its not already out -- i dunno).

so i'm at wal-mart today and i wander the
toy aisle. BAM! new JLA toys....

but i noted 2 repaints.... a superman and a batman.

the regular JLA superman is dressed as we
all know him, in red and blue blah blah blah
and the batman is dressed in yellow and gray...

BUT BUT BUT....

these repaints have superman dressed in
black and red... and the batman dressed in
black and yellow.

HELLO!!!!!!

can anyone say: BUY THESE TOYS ????

they run $6.95 a pop....

better snag 'em.

i only saw one superman/batman repaint at
my wal-mart...

if you care.... this may be valuable information

my wal-mart excursion....

so i go to the other wal-mart by my house because
i saw the toys at the far wal-mart... and wanted
to check the lowdown at the one by my house...

hardly any JLA toys were available... but i did
catch a few... and they were on sale!!!

i didn't see any batman or superman figures other
than the regular batman. i bought it for 2 bucks!!!

so i headed on over to the other wal-mart....
and found the single black batman...

i freaked because i couldn't find the black
superman ANYWHERE... and i was a bit disappointed.

then i saw it!!!! it had been taken from the peg
and moved... so i snatched it!!!
(these two i paid full price for -- a whopping $6.72!!!)

although i have no doubt that these repaints
won't mean shit in regards to a collection, as
batman and superman are popular (it would be
best to get the no-name figures like 'hawkgirl').
but i desperately wanted these....

and i'm providing links to the backs of the
cards to show you the differences.

lol.... well i'm not an avid JLA fan, per se....
though i do have a JLA plastic man that was issued
a few years ago...

i just like to get toys i like... but not for
any other motivation. tg has seen my toy walls
and can vouch that i have a little bit of everything....
even barbies and other assorted whatnot.
